I grew up in a musical home. I took piano lessons off and on through high school and played clarinet and oboe in the school band. After spending ten years home schooling my six children, I decided to start teaching piano myself and return to school to pursue a degree in music education at California State University, Sacramento. I have been teaching piano for five years now and have spent four years teaching elementary band. My students range in age six through adult. Teaching is something I truly enjoy. By using musical games and activities, I can teach my students new musical concepts in a way that they can easily understand and enjoy!
